Wow! Was almost going to ask if you had that surgy when younger. More common surgery with Pediatric Ophthalmologists.

dam, my eyes suck ass as well.

had a spontaneous retinal detachment in HS (right eye, right handed, now I am a right hand left eye dominant, plays hell shooting a long gun). Scleral Buckle surgery on that one, vision is 50% on that one. Lasered the other one to make it stronger. They say due to my extreme near sightedness, my eye shapred like football, and pulled itself apart. That and football likely did not help. :anonymous:

They are not that bad. Just will need active management. Most get sick of contacts then want lasik. Lasik/prk fixes the vision- but not the tear film- which is very important.

Yeah but funny story all of my health records from when I was a kid and we're talking close to 15 surgeries and all the written records from the specialists were lost to a fire before they were converted to digital. So now all I have is the old written records from my pediatrician and from my mid 20s on.

With my exotropia my dominant eye changes constantly I just learned to shoot and do other things both handed well. Except I still suck at writing and throwing rt handed. For the most part I am left handed rt eye dominant.

I have zero film layer in my left eye. My right eye has a bit. It's really annoying and can get downright painful. Constantly carrying around Refresh eye drops. I have a prescription for Xiidra, but having to jump through hoops with a PA and getting insurance to cover it.

When shooting pistol I just cross to the dominant eye. Then with rifle having a scope forces the eye behind it to be the dominant. With irons I would cover my eye to force focal of the one I needed, I did this for a while until my brain now does it automatically it needed training though.

Dude that's a part of history now I bet some tech junkie collector would pay some good money for that. Love the pic of the rear projector monitor on the box.

It was given to me to e-cycle, but I dunno if I can make myself throw it away.

Don't have a land line to plug it in anymore. :anonymous:
