It’s the original carb. From what I can tell I think its a carter 1bbl. It’s all original 2.8 L6 232 rambler engine.

Had a guy rebuild the carb for me because I have a hard enough time with my leaf blower carb. He told me (actually my father in law) that the rebuild kit he used had a needle that’s too long. So I reckon I’ll pull it apart and see if I can find the right one.

    Morning everyone.
Good to be home in Indiana. I think I gained 5 lbs between the time I arrived last nite and breakfast isn't even cooked yet!

Got my buddy Lucy for company until people start waking up around here. Pops has already left for work.

Good luck some of those old AMC and Chrysler carbs can be a bear to find correct parts for. If you need help locating parts let me know. I can usually find some NOS stuff when local places don't have the right stuff. It may also be worth looking into getting Nan adapter plate and putting a simple 2bbl newer style Carter on it.

I know the feeling. I stayed up way too late Saturday night and didn’t take it easy yesterday.

I think we’re taking the kids to awendaw this morning. I can throw the mat in the truck and maybe meet up in mtp around lunch if that works?
