No looking at the specs you have and the tire size you shouldn't have that. They are probably going to try and pass the buck because that's the status quo

For tire wear you want your toe and camber set as accurately as possible. I am not a fan of home job alignments unless you've got the plates and everything like we used to set up the race car otherwise your not getting as accurate of a measurement as you can be getting. Glad it's working for you though.

We’ll see what the other tech can do. The sales rep guy told me the alignment tech they had in yesterday was a lot newer and the 2 guys, specifically one, is a master tech and should be able to get it dialed in. I’ll make another appointment with him specifically next week

Got ya. Yeah I learned on the old string machines. Then I use to be the one to set the suspension up on the circle track car. Heck yeah make a few bucks. When I had all my stuff for the race car corner scales, alignment stuff etc. I made some extra cash setting up other guys stuff it paid for all the equipment rather quickly then it was all profit.

So my office building down in th courtyard has 3 ping pong tables, a fooseball table, and corn hole. And a lot of super comfy chairs and couches. I think I’m gonna just start working outside from now on

    Yes
I've always associated my drivers side drift because of the heavy stuff on that side; battery, driver, gas tank. Additionally, the roads around here tend to slope towards the middle of median, so by default trying to turn "down hill". Road ruts also play a part I guess. I don't know what I did with my last rip from the alignment shop since I had it done back at a Firestone in Texas a long time ago. I went in for the lifetime alignments since I was all about spending money. I've taken it in like 3 or 4 times since then so I guess it paid for itself.

I wish I got a matching spare wheel as my current driving pair. Yes, they are all SCS Series 8's but I guess I have the Gen 1 Series 8s for my driveline and a Gen 2 for my spare. The only difference is the bolt color on the faux beadlock. Yes its minor, but I can see it like a sore thumb. I am thinking about switching to the F5's in dark bronze, shave those extra few pounds on each of the corners but I dunno yet.

    Alright guys, Amazon shopping time.

I think I have the choice of getting a viair 88p, static tow strap, and EZ tire deflator,

    OR

a CB setup using these main parts. Yall who know a lot about this sort of thing, could you tell me what else I will need to get this installed in my truck?

What would my best option be for mounting?

I am honestly trying to keep this as budget as I can. What else do I need to get this thing hooked up? This stuff is making my head spin. I thought it would be simple, but then there are all kinds of different cables and antennas and brackets and whatnot. :annoyed::goingcrazy:

My .02 would be to get your recovery gear in order but I’m that guy that likes to rely on others as little as possible. I don’t off-road anywhere as much as I did before getting the tacoma...especially since moving here to SC where there isn’t nearly as many places to go compared to when I lived in Cali. But with that being said, I do have to ability to get myself out of all but the worst where I may actually need help from another truck (i.e. an overbuilt truck that doesn’t get used much).

When going with a CB setup, consider where you want your antenna and radio mounted and go from there. I didn’t want a permanently mounted radio in the cab so I went with a Midland 75-822 that I could simply attach to the antenna cable and plug into the 12v whenever I needed it. The rest of the time it’s in my center console out of the way.
