Wow.. that is absolutely shitty on their part. The fact that an emergency service of any type is subject to "throttling" is astounding. Greed at it's finest.

Copperhead bite Saturday morning.....he's still getting around slow. Couldn't find the punctures until it just started discharging. This is his second rodeo. Leg swole 3 fold

Those are no fun. My lab has gotten bit twice by copperheads.

Milk and raw egg whisked together and benadryl works wonders. 1mg/lb

Negative. I'm 1 for 3, Rommel is a stoic dog and tolerates pain very well. So both of his bites weren't noticed until after when he's chillin on the deck waiting to come in.

Mom had the results of her biopsy today. Not as good as @TACONOLES94 mom, brother, but hopefully not bad, either. Mom has cancer in her pancreas, but the doctors think they found it early. Really kinda floored me when they said the initial CAT/CT was a no cancer result and now a biopsy is like fucking pancreatic cancer.:censored:

My old germn shepherd was named Blitz Kreig the name was fitting for him. Trained him in German as well.

    This^^^^

Copperhead bites suck but there isn't really anything you can do for them except treat for infection and keep the wound the lowest point as well as what @toysrgood said. Hopefully he won't get much or any scaring from the tissue sloughing off. Also try cutting a potato in half and putting it on the wound for a bit if he'll tolerate it. The potato will draw infection out have no clue why or how it works but it does.

Yea, They just gotta tough it out. Fortunately we didn't have any tissue damage. Poor things look so miserable, I hate having to just watch them lay in pain. :pout:

Agree 100% .Tissue damage sucks. This is a pic on my other dog. Hard to see as it's been about 9 years since his bite, but he had two distict lines from both puncture wounds.
