South Carolina BS thread under new MANAGEMENT and lives in SC

It was the group right after my THR. SIL is an OR nurse that often works with the dr who did the surgery. She recommended the ortho group to me. Just glad I got in and out when I did.

 

It’s a work in progress. Been a long time working on it but should be a fun trail rig once it’s complete here shortly.

Storm surge and rain levels still the same as earlier predicted though.

 

this is making me feel better about our place surviving. Not worried about flooding since our place is up on stilts 13' in the air.

 

All I know is I'm at work and on call for this storm sense we are ESV ( emergency service vehicle ) certified repair shop but damn this whether feels good haha

 

Yea but I'd get board at home . Been at work all this week hahaha . Tomorrow I'll be at home but on standby along with this weekend

 

True sense I'll be on call my hourly rate goes from $25 to $65 I'm loving that haha

 

Well I thought John's island was doing really well keeping gas coming in, but now it's just like James island. All out.

 

McMaster really jumped the gun on this damn storm. Kids could have stayed in school. Thursday morning no rain no wind. Shit I played golf yesterday.

 

Made it through the “tropical storm” through Hawaii to get home last night. Hope all you guys are safe out there

If it was anything like Evap leak code I had a few years ago, I had the idea it could be the gas tank cap. I replaced it and the CEL actually went away on its own

It’s kinda nice having the same patient group over 3 days. The devil you know is better than the devil you don’t...

You good man, maybe I made it sound worse than it really is? We work 12 hour shifts and even though I don’t prefer 3 in a row, it is manageable. Pretty much all I do in that time is work, eat, and sleep, and 4 days off a week is pretty nice. When I worked nights I actually preferred 3 in a row so I could have more time to switch to a day shift sleep schedule. Practicing safe medicine is definitely a priority, most importantly for the patient but also when your license is on the line. Telling a judge you were tired doesn’t hold up very well in court... Lawyers will eat you alive on the stand. Nurses get hung out to dry all the time, some deserve it, others not so much. But I def wanna be in the clear when it comes to that.

I’m not well versed in surgery, but that won’t be good for the practice if the patient can prove that instrument wasn’t sterilized properly

 

A district further west than me let out early today and is closed tomorrow.

 

Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools are closed today and tomorrow to prep to be shelters, they are shelters for evacuees.

Cabarrus closed tomorrow
