South Carolina BS thread under new MANAGEMENT and lives in SC

Our kids will miss 4 days of school this week they will have to make up. 3 days where the weather was great.

Don't forget its just the beginning of Hurricane season. And we still have winter to get thru. Looks like our kids will be
in school until July

 

We are at school today. Tomorrow depends on wind. If wind is over 30MPH, then they will not run the buses.

 

I actually try to do the same with my days in a row. I think it may have confused some people with the back to back. It can be nice or bad having the same assignment for a few days. We have some that will work 5 in a row. I personally couldn’t do it.

 

So not 36 hours straight...?

 

No, on 12 off 12. In NC we can’t work more than 16 hrs straight and I wouldn’t want to.

 

Oh, ok- got it. I know hospital based Nurses are constantly moving on your feet.




I was thinking 36 consecutive hours. Last time I did anything like that, I had a big ruck sack in my back and my rifle in hand; in my previous life.

 

Y’all would at some of the hours I work.

Sometimes I look back and think “damn that was dangerous.”

 

With it being a State of Emergency, they're is a chance the governor could "forgive" some of those days and you wouldn't have to make them up.

My school district is piloting E Learning days, where they have assignments they downloaded to their Chromebooks to do if we are closed for inclement weather.. no student make up days this year.

I do the same Thursday-Sunday then back Thursday & Friday. It’s nice having the week open. Not so great for having weekends off.

 

I checked my cap first thing. It's tight and solid, not to say there isn't a leak somewhere.

Did you replace it with an oem cap from the dealer?
Did you have to clear the cel or did it just go away on its own?

 

I work Thurs-Mon every week. Weekends are overrated haha
