I just got back from Wyoming and Nebraska. People don’t realize how decollate those states are. If the wife liked cold and snow I would be in Wyoming tomorrow! Going back in septemener to chase mullies with the bow. I love it out there. My Grandparents live in banner co Nebraska on a massive farm. Closest gas station is 27 miles away haha. Now that’s living in BFE!

Stay away from the googler and parenting books talk to people family friends etc. They won't tell you how to parent but what things to expect and tips and tricks those parenting books are just someones way to raise a kid. You'll be surprised at how much instinct kicks in and all of a sudden you know what to do even though you were never shown or anything.

There is one county/town in Nebraska with a population of 1 literally. Yeah people think damn alaska is cold above the artic circle yes but below that I think Wy has them beat that damn wind and snow pretty much all yr. I mean we had snow on the ground for 9 months or more. Lots of fun most unpopulated state.

It's like going down the web md rabbit hole where you have a cough and web md says you're dead...

We are really just tryin to take it one day/week at a time. I know we have time to make decisions and plans.

What I am really surprised about is the lack of information they gave us at the first ultrasound. Like no expectations or here's what's next or anything really. I mean they did some basics but I thought it would be much more than they give us. And the next one isn't for another month or so. I'm not patient enough for all this waiting around.

Banner co is like 750 sq miles. Population of 600 some. Closest neighbor is 4 miles away. The wind is the killer out there! It snowed everyday. The sun would melt the snow off but my god that wind. Coldest I saw with wind chill was -13. It’s freakin November!

Half of Wyoming is public access state or blm land. Hunters dream for sure but you better be able to take the cold.

I’m still adjusting to sc weather. Was like mid 60s here in greenwood today. Feels like sept in pa. Makes for great hunting and fishing weather so I ain’t complaining.

Yeah and you better know what you are doing out there too one little mistake and it's over. I know a lady that died in WY last yr due to exposure. People that knew her better that I said she was very experienced in the outdoors. Her and the other person she was with made wayyyyy to many mistakes and neither one of them were experienced with that high of altitude or weather all they knew was South east stuff. It is a different world for sure. I lived in Laramie but traveled all over. The time that I was there the coldest I saw with windchill was in the -40s.

Docs don't really tell you much unless something shows up abnormal. Those rabbit holes will be the death of you and worrying.

You ain’t kidding! My close friend is a guide up in Bozeman. It’s nothing to have 50-60 degree temp swings in the spring and fall and it drops some intense snow. Can never be to prepared.

I like the Bozeman area it's on my shortlist of places to retire too. I love MT it isn't quite as harsh as WY and I think it is a little prettier state. WY is so baren until you get up in the N part of the state.

Yeah it looks like they added all that stuff onto it. It’s a clean truck though. I’ve looked at it before and surprised it’s still there.

Yeah that whole area was super cool. No idea that’s where you were from though! Small world after all.

    Ohhhhh I’m tellingggggg!
