It broke a bunch of other stuff too if I remember right.

I did my 2wd 4runner both sides for like $600 or so. One myself and one at a shop.

The dealer did both of mine for me #apartment life. Hubs, bearings, seals etc. it was a lot cheaper than that. I drove on mine for 6 months roaring like crazy too before I had them replace them.

Almost turned 1000 miles in a week and couple days. Going to have the oil changed next week. I bet that's more mileage than you've put on the T4R so far :anonymous:

Critical failure when I was driving. Completely disintegrated and the pieces took out the end of the CV axle, jammed up the brake caliper, and gouged the brake rotor.

I'll be headed back up to AOAA sometime this winter to conquer that park since it sent me home packing this time. I'm not going to let it whoop me.

i think you might be surprised how accurate they may be, buddy of mine was a contractor on an FAA project, everything had to be calibrated and certified torque on the power generation stuff they were installing/updating. he bought 4 of the HF torque wrenches and had them sent of to be calibrated and certified. They all came back with certs for the ranges they were designed for. And a hate letter from the certifying agency asking them to NOT let it get out that it was possible. Seems the higher end stuff sells more parts to calibrate and certify....go figure

didn’t stop me from buying a SnapOn torque wrench with certs, piece of mind is a wonderful thing
