Damn mine didn't get that purty smoke ring around it. The wife liked it way more than the butts so I guess I have to start looking for briskets now instead of butts!

Pretty good thunder though! I haven't enjoyed a good thunder storm in a while.

I bought this one in a divorce sale.... really good deal for 50 bucks with remote and blue tooth meat probe

Have only used it once as I feel like I am cheating with electricity but it's still very nice...

    20181007_062520.jpg

Ran some ribs thru it and they came out pretty nice....

Not cheating learning. Also some places it's hard to have a wood fire for the smoke. A good friend of mine uses electric smokers at his apartment.

That's the one I have and used yesterday for the brisket. I call it my cheating smoker, but my charcoal smoker isn't good enough to hold temps long enough to do anything besides babysit it all day so if I need to be productive, I use my electric. I feel like the meat tastes better out of the charcoal though.

Jimbo two of the guys I work with both have pit bosses and LOVE them. One says he uses his for almost anything because you can just throw the heat up for a quick steak or chicken breast. Just my .02.

I love grilling and only know alittle about smoking meats from making deer bologna and stuff. Bunch of my buddies have traegars and pittbosses. I’m for sure buying one for the new house. Amazing what you can make on those electric smokers these days.

I’ve got an Akorn Jr (mini egg) and 14” WSM if any of you future (and current) smokers are interested.

Check out the Traeger grills there damn near idiot proof for smoking. Which is great for us. We love ours I’m about to get a bigger one here soon.

Saw a doe out in the bean field today. I was contemplating taking the shot (250 yds is long for me) when two yearlings stood up next to her. No way in hell am I putting that bad juju on myself!

He’s my buddy. They are really cool dogs. I also have an English and my in laws have an English. We have had a pile of them but the frenchy seems to be healthier and are just easier to raise and take with ya places due to the size of em. 1C4CB8E8-6B3B-4F8C-B213-A237E8B6FF4E.jpg
