She’s going to med school in a few years for anesthesia, to get away from the whole nursing thing. She’s already the clinical supervisor, but can’t really go any further up the chain without higher education.

 

She'll be making the money for sure if she does. Marry that woman! lol

 

A little motivation for me. @dan0mite did you ever do a write up or anything on that trailer you had your RTT on before the monster Eddy built you?

 

I’m trying to! She’s had a big ass ring for 3 years now, but we’re busying trying to pay down some debt first instead of paying for a wedding...

We are basically married - house, kid, bank account, etc are all shared.

Only difference is that we file taxes separately.

 

It was a very simple build but it’s mixed in with the trucks build thread.

Found that, too. I was thinking back a bit to when you and @Bubbles were talking about taking the trailer for a ride in the rain on the freeway.

I've got my 5x8 that I'm going to shore up with plywood and probably 1x6's on the sides, and either learn how to weld, or see if Eddy can weld me mounts to get the rack for the RTT on the trailer. Getting the trailer wheelbase high enough that it isn't sitting at darn near 25° is the real trick. I have a 8" drop hitch, too, but it's just not enough with those tiny trailer wheels.

I just looked and it’s 84% humidity in Flagstaff. Fuck, that’s gotta be cold, especially with the wind.

 

I think we are over 5,000’ above sea level here. They had a couple inches of snow here yesterday.

What a change! My desert wheeling pics were sunny and 76-77 degrees!

 

I think I watched some big documentary on the Salton sea. Was this like a huge resort type back in the 50's?
