Can you contact the other department?

    Tried uninstalling and reinstalling?

    What .dll is missing?

Other department.. probably not.. printer was purchased last year and the PO is probably lost in paperwork hell by now..

vcruntime140.dll is what its looking for. Its supposed to be available with a .NET framework update that comes through Windows Update. According to the device, Windows is up to date. I've also attempted to manually install the Windows update (KB2999226), and when it runs it says the "update is not applicable to your computer."

Shooting in the dark here but have you looked into this?

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=52685

Your C++ might have gotten corrupted so a reinstall of that might be in order.

Edit: That link might be an old version

Like I said, just shooting in the dark. I certainly don't want to create more work for you or be the cause of further problems.

I guess sometimes antivirus deletes .dll files.

Does the other department happen to have their software still installed? You can copy the missing .dll from their install, and paste it where it needs to be on your machine.

Also check the recycle bin. Sometimes they end up there for some reason. :notsure:

    Edit:
Could also try finding a download for that .dll file but I don't want to link one because I don't want to link to a 3rd party download.

Other department essentially just bought it (had money to spend, and didn't go through Technology to make the purchase), and sent it to us and said "Make it work."

@toysrgood You sir, are a Gentleman and a Scholar! I uninstalled the two C++ patches that were on there, and loaded the one you linked me to. Reinstalled the software, and it came right up. :bananadance::yay:

I owe you a beer or something..

Those apps and Dongles promote yellow & red light running because you're thinking that you could slam on your brakes to stop for a yellow light or fuck'em because you dont want negative points and blow through the yellows and almost reds. Super stupid. I had the Progressive Dongle and got super pissed because I'd stop for the yellow lights from like 55 to 65 down to 0 .. but God forbid that I decelerated more than 10 in a second to be legal. I learned real quick that insurance companies don't give a fuck if you follow the traffic laws, only if you follow the rules based on their systems. So if you cant slowly come to a complete stop for a yellow, gun it and pray that a police officer isn't watching you. Lol, how would you explain that one to the officer? "Well you see sir, I'm trying to save points on my driving habits so I had to run the red in order to not slam on my brakes. You feel me bro?" *High five & and BJ.
