    Looking back...
    Were symptoms- but different than the Miata, so misattributed then.
    The new plugs/wires, then the hard acceleration pushed it over the edge (I hope that’s what it is).

    I’m having the mechanic look at it. If I was wrong on diagnosis, I’d be in worse shape than paying (plus, in-laws may help).
