Palmetto State Tacoma Club logo idea:
Mixing Toyota Trucks graphical elements, with the “vintage” Toyota T- in shape of SC flag.
    I “envision” it as a solid octagon, with high-contast “cut outs”/elements -mustache & T.
That way, it can be a solid metal hunk, with cutouts. Or, vinyl with those elements cut out. So, it can be easily made & be versatile in application.

    I like!

Maybe cause my pride isn’t here, so take it for what it’s worth... (nothing). I’d remove the word state and club.

Palemetto on top, S left, C right, Tacoma on bottom?

Can’t sense if that is sarcasm or not...

So... Like I said, my opinion means nothing, my pride isn’t in SC, I’m just an migrant from Michigan.

If serious, I wouldn’t do that, but the flag logo alone pretty much may make it noticeable enough!

Palmetto Tacoma seems to ring better to me than Palmetto State Tacoma Club but that might be my PTSD feeling out done by one letter! :notsure:

    Not sarcasm.
I sketched it watching a JV softball game (during warm up).
    The words are too much.
That’s not my name, I’d call it:
    Palmetto Tacos

I think I’ll make (by hand) a sticker, if the group doesn’t adopt it. I just like it.

For my retro-taco, I plan to use the stripe on my rear window (see earlier) & add the triangles T rather than the whole TOYOTA, plus use that on a steering wheel center too.

My wife is from East Lansing/Haslett. I moved up there when we met, and all told we lived in Lansing, Jackson, and Adrian over about 6-ish years.

We have a soft plan to take the truck with the RTT on it up to the UP and camp all along the Lake Superior coast over to the Iron Mountains.

Nice! Waiting for a trip to Isle Royale next summer in Superior!

It’s an awesome state in the late spring - early fall months but I was done with snow.

Parents lived put in Adrian and Camdens for awhile but wandered back to Metro for grandkids. A large amount of the family is still hanging around Dundee!

Besides the Lions, good place for the pride! :rimshot:

Yeah, if I hadn't gotten laid off we might still be there. My wife would love to go back, but the snow really is a bitch. It's too hot here for her, too cold there for me. lol

Yea, company had an opening down... I came down for about a week a month for six months to fill in and said... I’ll take it! 3yrs later here I am!

I think Aiken, SC is near perfect. Close enough to the mountains, ocean for long weekends, a bit hot in the summers, mild on the winters! Far enough away from major natural disasters to prove them minimal and lowly populated compared to Metro Detroit!

Downfall, only one decent sports team and lack of any decent food that isn’t BBQ. :crapstorm:

Aiken is a good town if you don’t want to do anything. My favorite South Carolina golf course is in Aiken.

Well that and no more salt on my Taco made it an easy decision... Traded the 14 in for a 16 and booked it south... only half-regret was pawning the 14 off for cheap gimmicks, a better cab and no salt endused rust!

I pass through Aiken now and then on my way to Augusta. Greenwood is kinda the same way. There's just enough here to get by, but to really do anything special you gotta go somewhere else.

Coming from Detroit the food scene has to be a shock. But the BBQ around here is really good.
