You think that's crazy? Check this out...I have a Charleston Water bill, a St. Johns Water bill, a SCE&G bill, and a Berkley Electric bill. o_O Now that's cuckoo...

This is just in the front of my mind since I just paid all these the other day.

I also see this on the same cars every day on my way to work. I can tell who it is I am passing based on whether they have their high beams on or not

I swapped out the headlight bulbs for a distant family member and I told him to cycle the high beams because they were already on, he said, the lights are just on or off with this switch here, there is no other setting. Dude didn't even know there was such a thing and just constantly runs the high beams...

they have a specific rate. IIRC, it get's revised every 6 months or so depending on actual fuel costs, etc.

Off topic but any opinions on the Mini Cooper S? I test drove one and loved it.

Yep. I was very impressed. Felt and drove like a $30k car.

That place is partnered with another dealer in Stone Mountain, which is where I got my Tacoma from is why I was asking.

I dunno, seems like a lot of money to drop on something that small. Was the performance that impressive, or what was it about it that impressed you so much?

I enjoyed them back during my valet days. Them and the Fiat Abarths were fun as hell to whip around.

@Matic you're the only one that I know who knows Fiats. What you think about this? Considering adding a go fast mobile to the family.

Mostly the quality of the interior and the smoothness of the ride. It’s also decently quick.

Those scat packs can haul ass. I’ve driven them a few times at the auto show. They move like hell.

    The mini S drives well.

Just watch out for long-term. There was a fair amount of Miata/Mini crossover folks. The Mini has a habit of major breakage & insanely high repairs.
One vendor I was friends with put it this way for the first 2 Gens sold in the US: “Buy them new & drive the hell out of it, then get the hell away from it just before the warranty expired.” He owned 4, in succession, while driving the same 2 Miatas, one fairly basic & driven hard & the other a tricked out show car showing of his wares.
That was in the 10 years I dealt with him regularly.
(Then I had kids that got big enough to get REAL busy, etc & Miata modding & events pretty much stopped besides my own mountain runs- I lost contact with most of my Miata friends)
