They are too long without the overload leaf in. Should be good when the overleaf is added back, though. I think, anyway! Poke away.

Have bump stops. U bolts are almost as long as the bumps. I think it will be okay until I add the overload leaf back in. You'll see tomorrow.

 

Should finish the fence tomorrow, got about half installed today. What a fuckin job! Hot as hell outside. @Matic I agree check the fuses. I hand a blown 10-15amp fuse behind the panel of the central air unit in my old house. Capacitor went the summer before then one winter no heat, trouble shot it and had power going from the unit to the blower fan but nothing after that. Pulled the panel to look inside and what do you know a bad fuse. Replaced it and back to having heat and air. Just something simple for ya to check.

 

I wouldn't know where to look.
The electrical panel in the garage or is there a panel outside?

The heat pump for upstairs is in the attic. The air con for upstairs is outside next to the heat pump/air con combo for the downstairs.

 

I just checked the panel in the garage. I only see 2 slots that are labeled "air". This look fine. Might try an electrocute myself after I get back from the gulches. Not a fan of electricity.

Cut off the breaker you just pictured in the garage with "D/S and U/S AC" and then go out and check the fuses outside

 

That is the outside breaker.
I'm guessing bad capacitor or low refrigerant safety shutoff.

I'll pull the cover when I get back from gulches and see if the cap is swollen.

Honestly, scares the crap out of me even messing with it.

There are no fuses like what Scott shows.

I'm going to flip both breakers in the garage for air con. Then go outside and flip those both off ass well. But I don't see any fuses to tell if I have a bad one??

 

Nm. They are probably under the panel on the unit itself.
This looks exactly like my unit.

 

Gotcha, sorry to have led you astray. I've only ever dealt with the setup mentioned.
