The pull tab only means that you have a non-fused disconnect, so fuses are not your problem. The fact that you have no power to the stat means either your batteries have died or you have no power coming from the furnace to the stat or the power wire has come loose. Without the stat, there will be no A/C call.

    All Greek to me man.
Capacitor was changed out a couple years ago. It doesn't look swollen. I don't see any burnt wires in the box outside or under the cover of the unit.

The last guy tried to tell me I had a leak and supposedly put in 1.5 lbs.

Maybe it's the low pressure safety switch.
I'll have to wait till payday, don't really want to put this on a cc.
I can suffer for another week.

There is no hum, no noise, nothing from the unit when the air is set to cool. It's like....dead.

Where is the blow motor at? That big furnace looking thing that actually blows the air? That’s here the fuse panel is at. Some of the new ones have a fuse by the capacitor on the outside unit some don’t. They all have a fuses on the blowe mower assembly though. Prolly in. The attic or crawl space.

Would have to put a electrical gauge on it but sounds like no power from the box to the unit. Could put a meter on it but I know ya said ya don’t like electrical work

Probably in the attic where the heat pump for upstairs it. If that's the case then it'll take me hrs to clear that room. It's storage and not really accessible atm.

Her uncle is a industrial electrician. He’s the one that showed me those fuse panels on the blower motor. I had power from the main box to the outside unit, and outside unit to the blower but nothing after the blower and it wasn’t pushing air. Well changed that stupid fuse and fuckin blower motor kicks on, starts throwing hot air.

I could set the temp and the pump would kick on but wouldn’t get hot. What worries me is your outside unit doesn’t wanna do shit according to ya. First step is find out if that fucker has power actually going to it from the breaker box to the unit.

@Matic once ya find out if the outside unit is actually getting power then ya can trouble shoot to low refrigerant shut off switch, find the leak, is an electrical malfunction etc

Should be a site glass and you can see if it’s low on Freon. Should be a greenish yellow color.

Can you come do my yard too?

I was quoted almost $800 just for fertilizer in the fall, by her brother who does landscaping. I guess those 50lb bags of seed only cover 1/8 acre. I’d need 16 bags haha.

I have zero clue about growing grass or anything that relates to grass and keeping a nice yard. I just know that half my yard has been taken over by weeds in the last 2 years, and it looks like doo-doo.

Bermuda grass is nice if it’s taken care of like most any grass. It’s common around here because contractors lay it down since it loves the sun.
