Is it really a hybrid? Only reason I ask is why the snorkel and what happens if you fully submerge the battery?

Anybody know the overall length of my truck? Wondering if it will fit I’m my garage since it’s set up with ramps and stuff.

It's my version of a hybrid the truck originally started off its life as a two-wheel drive prerunner and I converted it 4 years ago into four-wheel drive with all factory Toyota parts . As far as the battery nothing happens and the snorkel is for deep water crossings when I actually have the time to go Wheeling And over landing

So the funny thing is tho. A snorkel inlet is to face to the rear or the vehicle. Reason being it also keeps you from inhaling in dust and crap from the trail. Then when on road you flip it back around.

Not to not pic. It’s a bad ass truck and probably PIA to convert over.

Yeah on the road you don't get as much stuff going in to it but I keep mine in that direction all the time I just put a sock over it if I'm doing dusty trails

How much would yall pay someone to mount a tv on a wall and run some hidden wires down below to the a/v?

What about speakers? I feel like speakers are much more involved because they are further from the source.

My sister in law just moved and asked if I could do it for them instead of them hiring a pro.

Edit: I suppose I should add that they offered to pay for this.

Backstory: She posted on FB asking for some references and I considered tagging her husband as a joke. At their new house the other day and she pulled me to the side and said in no way is he allowed to attempt this unsupervised by himself :rofl:. Tits on a bull. Tits on a bull:bananadead:

Has a different kind of intake idk about the holes under the intake. Looks like it might suck in even more dust.

I had a guy do some work like this for me in the past. he was an electrician type. I think I paid him $150 at the time.

Will need to make sure the TV mounting bracket can catch some studs, or you may have to open up the wall and put some cross studs in.

Need to mount a box like this

He pulled wire and cable up through the crawlspace.

Shoot if this keeps up, I may need that dinner lol. Boat is taking on water and we gots to eat!

They've offered cash. Just trying to get a roundabout number. I'll take what they offer, but if they ask me how much they owe me I honestly don't know where to begin.

If you mount it on a load bearing wall then you just need to find 2studs mount the tv make sure it’s not an outside wall. Poke 2 holes in the wall get the wall pates. And mount the speakers next to the tv. Drop the speaker wires and tv input wires down and use a coat hanger or something like that to fish the wires out. It’s pretty easy. We did it in our house. Took me 30 mins to find the wires but everything else was super fast.

I am planning on using those pull through boxes. Power is already there.

TV will be floating above the accessories so its just a straight shot down.
