That will be much easier than an old BMW! Japanese cars tend to make sense when you're working on them. Also I love 80s wedge cars. You trying to sell it?

Euro cars like to do things backwards or not common sense like but once you get your head wrapped around their thinking they are actually pretty sweet.

I bought a 1984 BMW 533i back in January. Pretty fun car. I did a lot of work including replacing the entire AC system. But I sold it recently. Just didn't do it for me even though I put a lot of blood, sweat, tears and money into it. Sold it back to one of the original owners who was excited to get it back better then even when he owned it.

I really wanted another E30 but those prices are ridiculous now.

I would buy 100 of them if they were only 1000 each, because I could sell them all for 3k and triple my money. Finding one for 1k wont ever happen again unless its a bare shell.

Is it bad I want to take an E30 M3 and a iX or Xi whichever the AWD one is and combine the 2. That's been my dream Bimmer forever. I love the old blistered fender M3s probably the sexiest M ever IMO.

Did they make an E30 318i AWD? That would probably the place to start since the E30 M3 is also a 4cyl. But yeah a M3iX (or whatever) would be sweet!

Really clapped out E30s seem to START at $3k! People have lost their minds! Gotta pay that drift tax I guess.

Very very few probably the rarest of that era. There were a few running around here back in the day.

If anyone comes across a good set of 2" lift leaf springs let me know. Trying to get rid of these blocks on this truck. Been jumping around wanting to buy a ton of stuff but I gotta do the lift right. Lol.

I'm bitten again! This time with a kid so I gotta be a responsible adult....

Lose the blocks and get an AAL. You can get a single 2” for pretty cheap from wheelers or headstrong.

@j_sav115 2” AAL in Georgia, assuming this was for his 2006 but doesn’t say:

Edit: Shit, I can’t read. His shipping quote was to Georgia, he’s in CA. My bad.

Not sure if 2nd and 3rd gen leafs are compatible, but if you can make it up my way, I have the leafs off @McRib truck. They don't have many miles on them IIRC, and I have a 2" single AAL (not installed). Have new extended u-bolts as well.

$100, but you gotta come get them or line up a TW express.

    Leafs are the same.

@j_sav115 do you have the 3 or 4 leaf pack?

Upgrading to the 4 leaf should bring you back to stock height or slightly over. Maybe an inch or less over stock.

4 leaf packs are common take-offs and can be found for pretty cheap. Throw in an AAL and there you go.

That's what I did, but I am going to be putting in a leaf pack soon ( used AP standard pack) because the AAL is stiff especially on my little truck.
