It is. But if enough water builds up it just runs under the door anyways.

Looking good! Glad I could have a hand in making it come to fruition...and it's provided a little inspiration for some upgrades I've been looking to settle on. I've been looking to budget for adding a Slimline front bumper, sliders and lift...how much did the suspension package run ya, if you don't mind, as I need to start to plan/budget my long term solution.

Initially, I started out with a package from Headstrong Offroad. Good prices and excellent customer service. I went with OME 884 coils, Bilstein 5100 shocks and their 3 leaf AAL for the rear. I want to say it was around $700 at the time. For a stock access cab, I gained 1.75" front lift, 2" rear lift leaving in the overload spring. That combo rode slightly stiffer than stock.
Since adding the front bumper and winch (approx 130lbs), I lost about 1"of lift in the front on the 884s.
I went back and forth on how to get front lift back. Ended up getting a great deal on 886 coils and front OME shocks from @SearArtist. So I installed the 886s on the 5100s. With this combo, I'm at a 2.75" lift in the front. So the truck is pretty level. I'm at 23" hub to fender front and 24" rear. So far I love the ride. Some complain the 886s are too stiff but so far I think it's perfect with the extra weight up front.
So if you were to buy a 886/5100 package to start, I'd probably say in the $700-$800 range.

I'm not using the front OME shocks for now. But I'm going to save them just in case the 5100s don't work out with the 886s. Then I'll only have to buy rear shocks. Because technically the valving on the 5100s aren't supposed to work with the 886s. However, some people seem to love that combo, some people don't.

Ah, I was picturing a bit different in my head, I didn't realize that it was right there at your doorway. I thought you were just getting seepage through the base of your wall due to standing water. You might want to look at something like a channel drain which might be better for your situation. https://www.homedepot.com/p/U-S-TRE...hannel-Drain-with-Black-Grate-83500/302782454 They can be cut to length and tied into your french drain and you wouldn't need to worry about water intruding under your doorway. You would set it in place prior to pouring concrete. If you put a water dam on your roof or some gutters to assist with the redirection of the water so you're not getting direct runoff from your roof, that would help too. If you don't want to hand jam that trench, you could rent one of those trenchers from any local tool rental place. However, you'd still need to widen the trench if you used one of those little mechanical dudes, they only give you like a 4 to 6" wide trench and you'll need a trench that can accommodate the 4" perf pipe as well as at least 6" wide of gravel base on each side of the pipe, hence the 2 to 3' wide trench. You could use it to dig 2 parallel trenches and then spade out the middle dirt, that could work too.

I have gutters and that has helped. It only happens after torrential rain or after several days of rain. Where the ground gets waterlogged and the water has nowhere else to go. I'm going to get some quotes on having it done. I've had good luck before using Lowe's professional services. At least get an idea on the cost.

I'm all about attempting to do things myself so I try to let you know what you're in for. Is there anywhere in your yard that slopes away from your house? Typically either sloping towards the back yard or towards the street is where I would run the french drain. I really like that popup emitter at the street and it's only like 12" or so below where I'm pulling the water from. You may not need to do a run all the way to the street if there's a better place to push the excess water to.

Who needs TSB leafpacks with less than 10,000 miles on them?
