    Morning guys. today is day 1 of boat loading. they just got the deck painted yesterday so we cant load the big shit yet. we have one co-worker that overreacts and freaks out on a dime so its always interesting when something doesn't go perfectly smoothly.

    Busted CV boots and lots of squeaks.
    1) How many cabinets are you trying to do?
    2) What are they made of (Oak/Poplar)?
    3) What kind of finish is on them now?
    4) How old are they (helps with question 3)?

    Painting/refinishing cabinets is not an easy chore. If they are covered in something like a poly/lacquer/Shelac finish, that will need to be removed/stripped manually or chemically. Any kind of "shine" on the surface will need to be removed. If not, there is a possibility that the paint will not take, or the previous finish will bleed through. Taking all doors and hardware off makes this easier. I would look into using an oil based finish/paint to reapply (although the odor/vapors may run you out of the house).
