i just went to chiropractor last Saturday, i go once a month, but it does not help the neck much for this type of involved work underneath on one shoulder slithering around like a funky worm lol

Haven’t finished yet. Had people come over and what not set me back. Getting back on it now will let you know soon as I know.

 

Made an aluminum divider bewteeen the cabin air and intake.

 

No metal screens over the holes inside the cowl like most peeps do, It’s a pain in the ass to access and the truck is 15years old and their has been no rodent problems so far that I know of. Now to cap this 4” hole from oe intake. . 4” Corrugated landscaping pipe cap from Lowe’s. Bam!

 

Also cut a huge ass hole on the passenger side firewall to inside fender to get more air flow.

Just Took it for a ride, only noticeable difference is: taking off from a stop I hear what sounds like a Diesel turbo. There is a whistle. I hear it coming to a stop Too. It sounds good. A normal person would never notice it. Didn’t get to highway speeds but I doubt it’ll be any different.

 

So on my UltraGauge I have been consistently getting 14.5ish mpg in town with the new 35’s. For some reason I am now getting 15.1...Blame it on the cowl intake? No clue. But it’s showing better mpg immediately after doing it.

 

I've been running mine for years. The best compliment I've gotten was a friend saying it sounded like her husband's v8 lol.
