I guess I've never actually seen a bottle so I was thinking it went for more at retail. $80-90 isn't that bad at all.

If it gets to where I still can't find a honey hole I'll for sure be in touch. Thanks!

Blantons released then new retail as of may 1sr for 79.99 msrp. Depending on the state and how they regulate it they will sell for msrp to 300 bottle. Like I said at 125 a bottle they sell on the secondary they moment they get posted with the allocation, hence why I jumped on the case. I still have over a dozen bottles but I buy it every chance get at retail.

Bt is a steal at retail. Such a great overall great body bourbon, good neat, good mixed, and good on ice. My go to on most days for sure.

I don’t even like it anymore. I’m a buffalo trace distillery fan boy though. Everything they make is freaking amazing.

Just threw a pork butt on the Weber kettle and making an attempt at smoking it. We’ll see in about 8 hours how it turns out :fingerscrossed:

did you pay a reasonable price for the ribeyes? I haven’t had much luck finding some that aren’t ridiculously priced right now.

What method are you going about smoking it? Have You seen the snake method or the slow n sear? Just ordered a Weber kettle and I plan to teach myself to smoke on it too. Probably going to fab me up a slow n sear. Not paying $100 for one.

“Modified Minion Method. By adding lit coals on top of unlit coals, you can maintain a low-temperature fire for a long period of time. The lit coals will slowly heat up the unlit coals.”
Piled them up on one side and put an aluminum pan beside the pile, under the meat on the grill. And put some apple wood chips on top of the charcoal.

nvm, modified minion is just a pile on one side. Basically the same thing as to what a slow n sear Does.

I ordered a gasket on Amazon for 11 bucks thAt you put on in the inside of the lid. It is some sort of high temp felt with a sticky backing. So basically that is similar to what a green egg has.
