scratch that, apparently the power wagons are gassers only...

It really comes down to the interior, they are all three good trucks at this point, just about any drivetrain problems have been sorted out.

We had the PW with this GD. Range is 200 miles per tank. It made it rough with states like Nevada where you go 100+ of miles with no gas stations. That’s why we upgraded to the new diesel ram 2500. The ventilated seats are love. We sold the PW for a damn fine deal and the new owner LOVES it. The PW is nice but I really do like the diesel.

Rather have a ram chassis it's a lot stouter. Ford puts a lot of flex into theirs to get that "smoother" ride. Has to be a non Chevy allison(they are weak for even the dmax), prefer the 99+ super dutys compared to the current stuff

Im gonna have to eventually unless I get a cheap tow rig. Sequoia will pull the boat at 70mph like it’s not even there. I have always wanted a Suburban 2500 with the 454 like my dad had when I was younger. I think his was a 1995? Now my dad tows their retirement home (42’ 5th wheel) with his Dodge he bought in 2003. 4 door dually, manual trans, diesel, long bed, bigger turbo, 5” exhaust, tuner, intake, and it’s less than 80,000 miles on it. Every time he takes it in for a service, dodge dealers try to buy it from him.

That's an old 5.9 truck and a great one the manuals had some issues with pressure plates and flywheels same with the ford's of that era. I think the dodge's had a run of manuals with a synchro issue but can't remember 100%.

The only thing I don't like about the mid 90s 3/4 ton burbans is the front brake rotor attachment method, IFS, and the diesel offered. I was constantly working on my Uncle's 6.5 (injector pumps) and then put idk how many balljoints on that truck. One transmission due to the typical shearing of the reverse drum. It was a stout truck and I'm mad I didn't scoop it up when he got a new one.

we had a late 80’s suburban (88 or 89 IIRC) growing up with the 454. Lucky to get 9mpg around town, my dad pulled a car trailer a few times and got 5mpg. No thanks.

I would like an old square body suburban, but I’d immediately swap in a 6.0 LS and 6L90E
