Might run a bit different than normal, probably rich, but you're not gonna hurt anything until you can get it fixed. If I remember right lean is worse than rich. There's nothing coming out that port, it needs to have a vacuum on it to regulate fuel pressure correctly.

On the intake. It’s totally sealed.

Fixed for now. Drilled it out enough that I could push the nipple in and the hole is tight enough to seal it. Sealed around it with high end waterproof caulking. Should buy me time to source a new intake and not run the cold air intake.

The plan is to be on the boat too if the weather allows. I can be up for a cruise to Kiawah Island.

That’s a good hour or so. If you’re stuck at Bohicket and need a ride, let me know. Weather doesn’t look to be clearing up anytime soon.

Was it sketchy? Which way did you go? That water on the open ocean side of Kiawah is REALLY shallow and then the breakers are out there waiting to sink you. I’d rather go out the jetties and go south than try to get offshore from the Stono. Locals have described it as “getting offshore from the Stono isn’t worth loosing your life or your boat.” Lol

If he ran from Limehouse to Bohicket, he most likely went around Wadmalaw. Going out and around Kiawah right no would’ve been a hard no.

It’s sunny and nice at work (Columbia). Is it awful down there now?

Better hook my snorkel back up before I drive home. I’m sure things will be flooded if it keeps raining

Yea we went Limehouse down around wadmalaw. When you get that wide fetch out there behind wadmalaw the whitecaps can get pretty rough. 1 hour run turned into 2 hours pretty quick. We're good though, wet but good.

I took my gheenoe 13’ into the ocean and it got pretty sporty coming back through the jetties in MI once. Was on a 17’ sea fox out trolling near shore for Spanish last summer and comming back into winyah was a white knuckle experience. We were soaking wet, swells comming over the bow. Winyah can go from mild to wild in minutes. Have to constantly watch the weather Especially when your in a micro sled!

Sounds wild! I always like a good adventure. I love being on the water.

pulled my snorkel off, did some more cutting of inner fender, reattached snorkel, and have it hooked back to my intake. I’m ready for flooding now. Also adjusted my suspension. I guess it’s finally broken in and had to adjust for taco lean and my fat ass in the drivers seat.
