“Soon”. I got a lot going on this week. Trying to get stuff done before I go back to work next week. Then I’ll only have weekends free and usually I spend all day doing yard work one of those two days.

Launched at Limehouse for a cruise up to Folly Beach. Got caught coming back. Decided to wait this one out.

I have tied up to rando docks a few times to escape a storm! Tied up to a rando at pawleys island last summer when my Yamaha wouldn’t start. Was floating down current to midway inlet. After a couple hours later replacing the plugs and taking carb apart and draining the bowl I figured out it was the little stainless steel ball in the fuel line was froze. Wish I had Checked that first.
Edited to add: That was the first time my Yamaha hadn’t started in about 10 years Of me having it And it’s a 1999. Ended up not being the motor.

That's pretty funny. Yamahas are solid motors. We've almost tied up to a couple. Lightening gets me squirrelly.

Yeah funny thing is the dock was completely done and the house wasn’t even built yet. One thing about the lowcountry plenty of deep water docks where owners don’t mind if you shelter through a storm. Limehouse current ain’t no joke. Plenty of drunks rolling up around 8:30 pm. :drunk:

Yea you get used to the current after a while and just pick the right slip. The wife's been sideways in the slip a couple of times haha.

I picked the only open slip and it was the wrong one. I pretty much had to stare down the guy on the ramp unloading his fishing gear from the boat to his truck. Homeboy get out of the way once your boat is secured on your trailer. :annoyed:

We'll probably try and get on the water Friday and Monday sometime. Not fishing, just cruising.
