Have you done the driveshaft center bearing replacement before? Probably need to do mine and my CV joints soon always something

It looks simple, but can I do it with basic tools? I know I’d need a puller

 

Yeah you can do it with basic tools and a puller . But you will need a inpact for the nut that holds the yoke on behind the Center Bearing . I can't remember what size tho

Easiest way to do them is have the driveshaft retubed and let the driveline guys do it when they are fixing your DS

 

Or just order a 1 piece Tom woods shaft lol

 

Nah, I wouldn't do that. Have you read through the thread on the 2 piece vs 1 piece and adding a double cardan joint after the CB? Even with the 1 piece Tom woods some of the guys were still getting vibration issues.

That’s the easy but messy part.

 

thankfully our house was renovated prior to us moving in. All I did was repaint a couple rooms.
