I think I may have found the problem, these wires were ripped in half. I must’ve caught them on something while beating around in the woods & tore them in half.

It had what I think is a @HomerTaco scoop insert already installed. Straight trade For my non scoop hood. Free mods are the best.

 

Looks like it’s lighter shade of silver

 

My garage door is new and clean... the hood is just reflecting the white color of the garage door. It’s pretty much an exact match in person

 

may not be a perfect match, but close enough for me. I’ll wash and wax the truck and just call it good.

 

Sweet! I miss my sport hood. It was a love hate relationship. Loved the look, hated the glare and not being able to see over it off-roading.

 

Ah yes, a Jeep in its natural habitat outside my office window this afternoon.

Post up a close-up picture of that scoop and I can confirm whether or not I made it.

 

Need to knock out the factory insert to make it a functional scoop

I have plans for the future. I’ve read that the scoop isn’t tall enough to get air in it, but that hot air trapped under the hood can escape from it. Either way works for me.

Got tired of playing drums with my fingers. Ordered The Roland TD-1 DMK with double kick pedal upgrade.
Although ill be using my EZ drummer software and going into my Tascam recorder.
I hope the hip can take it.

Hell yeah. Hopefully the hip will be okay. I played a bit at a music shop on an e-kit not too long ago and it didn't bother me, but it wasn't like a full blown set or anything.

 

I knocked out mine. Doesn't make a difference whatsoever. Lol. Color match the grill. I love the look of mine.



Plus you can see the sheet metal supports for the hood.
