Nope. "All American Pressure washing" in easley.

Found 2 pics on there fb page when they did my house and brick stairs. They use low pressure on brick as to not damage the grout.

The mold was around the entire house and even got that weird black mold off the roof and green mold on whiye painted railings.

    They did a phenominal job.

If you have fb, check em out. they got tons of pics.

Debadged, decals removed ARE V series Camper Shell, RallyArmor mud flaps I’m old, my truck is boring
Waited on hold for almost an hour and finally got to talk to a human at 4wheelparts. The email was wrong, bumper isn’t on order from the manufacturer... it was being shipped from Cali to Florida then here. I’m waiting for it. I thought about cancelling the order but other bumpers I liked had a long lead time. I really like the ARB bumpers. Next project is gonna be my front diff needle bearing.

you will want to remove the fastener in its entirety. some times people just cut them off and leave the shank in the wall, which, over time will corrode and when it does it will expand up to seven times original diameter and spall out a larger area. I would repoint the holes in the mortar joints, with mortar. If it is not gray, you can get a chunk and stop by a brick yard, pinehall, or old castle, or whoever is near, and they can help match it up to the myriad of available colors. We do repointing and brick restoration, and matching brick, and mortar is the most frustrating part of a job usually. sand color matters as well, white, yellow, or red. usually you mix sand:mortar 3:1, unless it is a premixed mortar, just add water, sand already in the bag/ e call this mix n go mortar.

or you can just caulk the holes :D

We fix parking decks (and other steel reinforced concrete structures) as well. The concrete is just protection for the structural steel (rebar) . over time, if not protected, water will begin to corrode the steel, which will lead to the concrete cracking and spalling, thus allowing more water in to attack the steel, and will speed up the rate of degradation, and if left unchecked, will lead to failure. There are many products to prevent water from getting to the steel such as waterproof deck coatings, migrating corrosion inhibitors, and a myriad of other snake oil technology. There is a lot more to it. Carbonation and chemicals also increase the rate of corrosion. The rate of corrosion near the ocean is greatly increased due to the salt in the air / water. If you ever see a building getting re-skinned near the beach, it is likely due to steel component corrosion, due to lack of building maintenance, or poor design / construction, or both.

    interweb source
"We have known for many years that as rust forms on metal installed in masonry or concrete, the rust expands up to seven times the original thickness of the metal. The force of this expansion, if confined, can reach as high as 9,000psi."

This stuff is boring to most, but I love this stuff :anonymous:

    TLDR :hattip:

Also, like a young idiotic first time homeowner, many years ago I spray painted the shutters while still on the house. I tried putting a piece of cardboard up to avoid overspray but I still have some paint on the brick. How do I get rid of that? Will the pressure washing remove it?

Crank up the pressure washer. I am sure it will go away when pieces of brick start flying off.

Does the rebar reinforcement not rust in concrete at all. With how pourous it is and concrete being wet, I'd think it still rust just a lot slower???? Or is the rebar sealed from air well enough that the moisture getting to it won't start the oxidation process? Hell I probably answered my own question just thinking about how rust works and the systems more.

Winch came in handy again for the back leaning trees. The next 20-30 trees are straight up and down. Hit a piece of metal in one of the trees. :annoyed:
