Woke up this morning and a damn tree fell down on one of my pasture fences. Ain’t no way I’m cutting it up in this weather.

Yeah. This is true. I’ve felt them before, but hearing them is wild. Wakes us up at night. They’ve been 2-5 miles max from the house. The first one, being the biggest, was the closest.

Pretty close to my place as well. Not feeling so great about moving to Elgin so far. Need to sell my camper so I can build a wall around my property.

I'm in Lugoff and I haven't really heard them, just felt the house shake a little. The one yesterday morning came amidst the wind storm so I just thought it was thunder at first. Same sort of shaking the house feeling.

Pretty new to TC and just discovered the SE page. Located in Charleston SC and with the truck finally getting into decent shape I'm looking to start challenging it more. Anyone know of any good trails up north near Laurel Fork Falls/Devils Hole? I've been taking her off on trails near Cottageville and all that but looking to add a little more elevation.

Horse Pasture Rd looks solid but if anyone has firsthand experience in that area, I'd love to hear it!
