if just the boot is torn then your fine it's not like you really wheel it to worry about it . But if your die hard on replacement then get OE lower control arms . Aftermarket ones cost to much

I was thinking same thing.. I just like to have an amount of money or goal idea so I know how much I'll be spending or the plan when it comes time.

I was quoted somewhere around $1200 for OE with install. That was an outrageous price to me.

Not hard to install yourself.. The OEM lowers are around $350 per side. Replaced my passenger side not long ago and now need to change out the driver side.

Sames'ies. Go OEM, I plan on OEM. Reasoning behind it is cost and the bushings should come pre-pressed. I would also suggest replacing the alignment bolts and cam tabs with new OEM as well for piece of mind. Sometimes they fight a little too hard and need to be zipped off. Take pictures of your alignment tabs to help retain a close approximation of your alignment to get you to the alignment shop. The other hardware can typically be reused if its condition is serviceable. New OEM LCA's should come with new cotter pins, if they don't, make sure to pick some up before you disassemble your front end. Other than that, remove and replacement is pretty straight forward. A couple of bolts, couple of nuts, love taps with the light sledge and Bob's your uncle. Easy peasy. It's a 4 to 6 beer day in the garage as far as time taken, depending on how fast you drink.
