So... anyone want to help me with a timing cover on my '99? I've hit a wall over the past couple days. Got everything apart except for the cover itself.

(I can offer food, beer, cash, a combination)

What's holding you back from removing the timing cover on your own? You said that you've basically got everything else removed.

RTV around the entire thing it seems. I just cannot get it to move. I know if I really give it the beans I risk damaging the head gasket if it pops at once.

Got a replacement timing cover which helps. Just sorta stuck and don't want to cause any (more) problems.

Without seeing exactly what you're working with, I would try some plastic and a 2.5lb dead blow mallet. As long as you went around and confirmed that all of the retaining hardware has been removed and there's not a hidden bolt, you should be able to wedge those scrapers in-between the mating surface and the block and slowly work it free. If the last person used RTV, they may have gone a little heavy handed. Clean up the surrounding area with some foaming engine cleaner or some diluted simple-green and a brush. Do not use metal tools to pry on the timing cover as you could risk bending or marring the surface resulting in more leakage.

Those tools look like a good start. I was also thinking of trying to get a razor in and starting that way.

Heavy handed is an understatement, the oil pan had RTV - cork gasket - RTV and was a bitch to remove. With some extra added on after since it was obviously leaking after they did it that way. I see RTV oozed out the sides of the timing cover... this job has sucked
