I know its not a taco, but my 05 land cruiser just started acting up. VSC TRAC and VSC OFF lights came on with no CEL. the gauges don't go back to 0 after I turn the car off, and when I turn the car off the trip meters reset and the NAV system resets, so some sort of power loss. its a few month old battery and I don't think that would make the gauges janky after turning it off. any ideas?

Also, no codes per my OBD reader.

Nevermind. the previous owner had a kill switch installed and I had bumped it into half on half off position causing weird stuff to happen.

If your changing 2nd gen clutch master cylinder. Make sure you have a small pair of bent needle nose pliers. 30 minutes trying to get a hose clamp with the regular, accomplish in 2 minutes with these

GMRS and FRS is great… only problem is lack of repeaters for them. I had my GMRS for 10 years and never hit a repeater. I need to study and get my HAM license. One day.

My father’s in the hospital tonight battling heart failure. I’d appreciate any prayers if you’re a church-going person in your Sunday service tomorrow. I don’t know how that works, I’m not religious. I just want him to be better.

That is entirely the wrong attitude for this forum. Spend more money!

You got it, brother! Prayers for your pops.

Amen to that. These days I think we could all use a little more faith and a little less stupid.

Thanks. He’s in Northeast. Doing a little better. Right now he’s on Lasicks (sp?) to get the fluid out of his lungs and abdomen. He seems to be in better shape than last night. I appreciate everyone’s prayers and well wishes.
