If neither the left nor right is lit up, the mirrors don't tilt down in reverse.

Yes! Google said that was the issue seems these learning curves will always be there on these new vehicles. This is still not as crazy as when I went from a 2000 jeep grand Cherokee to the 2016 taxoma and the truck spoke! Hahahaha. All bc I accidentally touched that button on the steering wheel. Once I figured that one out, I laughed so hard at my reaction to a "talking" vehicles. I don't think I ever want thr self driving ones tho, seen that damn movie too many times!
