    That's how my house was. Found out when I was trying to add a water filter and kept blowing it apart. No cutoff at the house, regulator, expansion tank.. One owner house and "was very particular about who did the work on the house"... They picked the wrong people to work on it..

    Here is what it looks like. Thinking about capping off the well feed and getting rid of the t joint for a elbow. Might also swap out the old shutoff valve for a ball valve.

    For one and albeit the only one i care about. Under no circumstance should a well water supply be connected to a municipal water supply. Ordinary stop valves and/or ball valves are not adequate enough to mitigate a back siphoning scenario due to a broken water main.

    But then again I deal with NC.

    f well water. Cost me $7500 to have ours fixed to where it’s now “safe” to drink and shower in.
