Pretty quiet up here along the boarder as well.

Fishing license expires Friday.

Gonna sneak out fishing tomorrow. Prolly suck with all the rain, but that's fine.

 

Got the girls (3&4) fishing poles for Christmas and finally got them out on the water with real hooks. Inevitably the youngest hooks the oldest in the finger. Now that that’s out of the way, we can start fishing!

 

All this rain recently has me ready to go get stuck in some mud on County Line Rd

 

Probably will get stuck If you haven't fixed your four-wheel drive yet lol

 

Well I finally put the Apache off-road rear long travel on the 4runner and look at the difference in the rear upper control arms

 

Was that trip to uwharrie the last time you went wheeling!?

 

Nah but it’s been about a year. This whole past year has been working on sobriety which is hard as fuck and left little time for much else. Hoping to get back into the swing of shit come 2024.

Got the truck up on ramps now to level the truck out and do an oil change in my slanted driveway and tinker with the 4x4 and hopefully slap all the skids back on.

 

I only went to uwharrie one other time since then New Years resolution is to offroad, camp and ride dirtbikes more.

Got my SC Xmas present.

New fishing license.

Got bent over for $45.

Could be worse for a non resident and I'd still pay it.

Yep. Next new years I get to do it again.

 

Nice. I was just in Florida. It was $30 for a week out of state.

 

I did pony up the $6 for a credit card type license. It has some decent wild life art on it along with your basic id and type of license.

Florida does that too. I like collecting those cards.

So far in Michigan we just have queer, generic stickers that show the type of licence you have.

We used to have stamps with some great artwork. We all miss those.

 

Guess no trade in value for the old one then.
