Oh yeah I've definitely worked on a few of them. One of my guys that used to live here he moved out of state. Had one did a bunch of work for him. I almost bought it and he told me he was selling it but it was a little more than what I wanted to spend
    you know it lol

that’s true but they are still artificially inflated.

at some point I’m going to buy a clean NA and either LS or K swap it. #ruined

Been playing around with splicing 1/4" dyneema winch line... Smaller the diameter the harder it is to properly splice and taper the ends but I took the end and reburied and tapered back into itself... I'm planning on making a dog leash.. would anyone be interested in 1? Or if there is something you would like out of 1/4" winch line I can make it.. I only have this color and size right now to get my feet wet and see if I enjoy it. I'm not sure I'll make soft shackles or winch line extensions but I'm not against doing what people are wanting KIMG0002.jpg KIMG0003.jpg

Just gotta get the hang of it. I use 7/64" for hanging Hammocks and smaller 1.75mm for the Ridgeline

    looking good!

i did leashes for my dogs coming up on 10 years ago. i'll never use another leash again. so light. so soft. if these ever wear out, i'll make two more. these are 1/2'' Amsteel. two recommendations. use some rope shield, at minimum at the clasp. i used it on the hand loop as well. i feel like it's held up a lot better there too. you'd be surprised how fast small but constant amounts of friction can wear our dyneema fibers. second, do not use a snap hook, use a trigger snap. the trigger snaps hold up so much better to dirt, sand, salt water, etc.

Man, people are straight up stupid with the money they want for Miata’s. Sure it’s just a blown fuse and the damage will just buff out…

Looking for recommendations for a budget friendly but good plasma cutter.

Cut 50 is pretty good. Most of the budget ones are dual voltage. Don't even consider running them on 120. Good performers on 240v. Arguably, the air compressor is more important than the plasma though. I run my plasma off a 60 gallon, and i'd consider that the absolute minimum size.
