You do what you got to do when your heat manifold on your Masterbuilt is rusted to crap and you need to smoke some meat.

Gave them the old college try anyways and had to turn around anyways. That Little Rock outcrop was a little ways past the creek and I didn’t want to try that solo so had to back down the trail through the creek till I could turn around. That was on Sarah’s creek.IMG_6235.jpg IMG_6240.jpgThen on earls ford the climb out of the creek looked a bit much for me solo and stock again so turned around again. Cool areas though. I’ll definitely be trying again.

North Georgia pretty close to the nc line. In the chatahoochie national forest. Both of those trails go from halfway ok forest service roads to those spots I had to stop pretty quick. No real in between. Good morning exploring though. Can’t complain! Almost had my front bumper removed for me when I had to back down the trail through that creek.

Hell yeah man looks cool. I've never been out that way before but the mountain laurel in your pictures gave me some idea that you were in the foothills.

We had a good rain yesterday. The river was a little higher today! I’ll get back there and do the whole thing one day. I’d like to at least have sliders. It would have been a great ride I’m sure. It’s on my list now.

Hopefully not too far away! There’s also plenty of camping spots along the road leading into it and I’m sure there are plenty more on the other side of the creek as well.

Man! I wish we would have seen you out there! We were a group of 5. (Three tracomas, a 4runner, and gladiator.) We did both of the whole trails. There was a ton of people out which I guess was to be expected. I hate that I didn't have a chance to get on here. Now I have your number it will be easier to plan something. I didn't take many photos. Here is a screen shot one of the guys filmed of my truck on Sarah's creek and the only photo I ended up taking of the 5 of us.

Y’all might have already been past the points I turned around. It was cool though! Glad I found those areas, the kids will love it next time around. On Sarah’s creek, how many more obstacles like the one you got a picture of were there? Or was that the most technical one?

Yeah definitely take the kids to both of the places. There is awesome places to play in the water. There is a waterfall with a shallow swimming hole right behind a Campsite at Sarah's creek. That spot on Sarah's is currently the most difficult spot. There use to be a technical spot that did an S turn with some off camber action. It's still there but they graded it and it's not as difficult as it use to be. There is another slightly tricky creek crossing with some slipper rocks. Nothing to crazy.

You and I live so close to each other. We definitely should have met up wheeled by now. I'm in Hartwell but we go to Anderson often.

I was going to walk the Sarah’s creek trail above that Rocky spot I stopped at but didn’t want to clog up trail any longer than I had to. I didn’t end up seeing anyone coming or going through there that wasn’t at a campsite.

Wandered down to Burrell Ford today since it was raining this morning and there was a little offshoot of the main road with campsites. Little baby water crossing midway down the trailIMG_6267.png
