Yeah even when I had my 2 crawlers a XJ and a YJ I tended to wheel more with import guys because they were cooler. The jeep guys were really snobby about their jeeps where as the import guys didn't care. The group in used to wheel with the most there were 2 frontier an xterra a pair of 4 runners a tacoma and what was left of a samurai.

I highly suggest going with the husky liners. But that's only because I don't like how the weather techs taper to flat like they do. I have a set of front husky liners that I'm putting on after my lift. It comes with a clear film you put on the fender to keep it from rubbing the paint off which doesn't really matter for me because the original flaps already did that. they also stick out about a 3/16" which I didn't like at first but it doesn't look bad and just means more protection I suppose. I can take pictures and measurements of them if you want
