**South Carolina Meet**Feb 23,2013

I just google mapped it from clemson to columbia you guys looks like I-185 (toll road) to I-385 (toll road) and get on I-26 right at the Clinton exit (which is awesome if thats the way you go) B/c we have a lake house off that exit and I know exactly where that meets the Clinton exit on 26 is exit 52 . I could meet you there easy.

 

385 is non toll.

 

I didn't think so either, but google maps said "partial toll"

 

I get on toll roads when i go to cola(home) so if we arent taking them that'll be fine lol.

Im down with meeting you off an exit so we can get back on the road to the meet.

So, can someone help me with something, how the hell do i wire up the lights to get them ready? I see the two loose wires coming out the projector but where do they go... and where does that go? A picture/diagram would be really nice.. i'll +1 you...

 

Your in luck I drove my truck to work today lemme go see if I can take a picture of the back of mine

 

sweet, im looking at everything and i dont see anything where i'd just "plug it in'

 

There should have been a plug and two rubber grommets in a small bag in the box with the projector housings. To assemble it you put the rubber grommet over the wires with the smaller end facing the connector. These get pushed into the hard back plastic piece. Make sure you get the red and white on the proper sides, to do this just compare it to the matching portion of the wiring harness. I can't take a pic, hope this helps you out some.

EDIT: Found this pic that might help.


The red pieces in that pic go over the wires coming out of the projector housing. Then the silver pieces that are in that pic are already connected to the wires and they slide into the black piece from the end with the two round holes. If you insert them correctly you will feel/hear a slight click. Then you use a small screwdriver or something similar to push the red pieces into the holes in the black portion.

 

Damn the pictures look like crap b/c I forgot I zip tied everything to hide wires and put electrical tape over the connectors to keep them snug. Lemme see if I can sort them out lol

Not sure if your guys kit came with this wiring harness diagram or not, I think mine did.

I may just be adding a 2nd vehicle. Will most likely end up trading or selling the truck though. It's just not practical enough with me driving between 3500 and 4000 miles a month.

Damn real life is getting in the way of my toys.
