    Hey Hey all,

This is for the folks in the Columbia, S.C. area. I'm here for a few weeks and I'm hoping to wheel a bit. Are there any good trails around? I've been doing some research and it seems my only options are off-road parks and this one trail called Horse Pasture Road leading to Jumping Off Rock.

    Thanks!

Yea. We have a crew that goes up to Horspature ocassionally. I think there is some going up to camp this next weekend.

Its pretty, mostly trails and nature. No hardcore offroading.

And your timing is good, all the trails are opening next week.

You also have 2 more options for more hardcore wheeling. Uhwarrie off road park near charlotte, nc. And The gulches closer to you near anderson,sc.

HPR is more than just a road leading to Jumping Off Rock. I can spend hours out there wandering once the trails reopen next week. We like to camp out there too.

Columbia is useless for trails. I lived there for years and I'm glad I moved to the upstate.

That's awesome, any chance I can get in on the day-run?

I'm here til the end of November. Just sliders unfortunately.

Alright, I'll have to research those!

Haha, I'll make sure to explore HPR when I'm out there.

I'll have to look into it! And I can't believe I already found another person from SoCal!

A group of us are going to Horse Pasture Trail Rd, this next weekend- and camping. you are welcomw to come out- PM me for details. Camp if you want, or just come out and leave same day. HPT is near LakE Jocassee- very beautiful clear water. Kinda reminds me of Lake Arrowhead- but much bigger.
