I remember seeing those Stik boats a year or so ago but forgot all about them...those are badass for sure!

I know that feeling of hoping to fall back asleep all too well. Most times I just say fuck it and get up for a few hours to do something...then try again.

Joe could make a side trip and pick him up so there is no excuse for getting off the island!

That’s awesome I love the keys, never tried bully netting we always dive/snorkel. I don’t even use a tickle stick and I think scuba gear is cheating... I just swim down and grab them. Just gotta check for morays and crabs first learned that lesson a couple times.

Let me know if you ever want to part with that Gheenoe I sold my classic and I keep getting the itch for another 13 or 15’4”...:D

Those little black fiddler crabs are like crack for reds, porgies, sheepshead and black drum here! I haven't found an easy way to catch them yet.

Cast net and hit the main channel edges at dusk for shrimp! I've never had good luck with mud minnows. I usually cast net a bunch of what we call mullet but they are more like minnows you buy for crappie fishing and use those to live bait specks.

Yeah where I usually fish they are more all over the marsh flats. I am going to try the bucket method.

They are too fast for me to catch. I would use a butterfly net or something like that to catch them.

Nothing wrong with that! I’d do it if I had the patience. I was thinking about picking up a cast net too...

I can't toss one any bigger than 8'. I know a guy who makes his own up to 20' and he can toss them like a perfect round pizza dough it's crazy how good he is!
