That’s the one that caught my eye for ponds and lakes that sleek hull would slide through the water like butter!
I have a coda 12 and I really like the seat very comfy but haven’t had much chance to use it yet.

I know where we can catch some bowfin!!!! Also if you got a bow I know a spot we could get some paddle fish.

Deep sea isn't really in my budget right now. If you want an inshore charter there is a guy out of Sneads Ferry, NC where my beach house is and his specialty is Speckled trout and reds. Hell the name of his charter is Speckled Trout Specialist. I've seen his catches and he slays them!!!

I will have my daughter that weekend so that may not work out for me unless I can switch weekends with her mother. Put me down as a maybe for now.

I have the Cuda HD I like it a little better than the LT. They changed the hull up a little and I personally feel it glides longer and easier to get up and moving than the LT I think they decreased the drag a little but increased the standing stability. The Cuda is more suited for big water long treks where the Coosa is better for the smaller water, rivers, rapids. The cuda may be a little big for some ponds.

My buddy has a Coosa and you’re right it turns easier that mine. But for what I originally had in mind the cuda seems to be the ticket. I’m planning a float down the Edistoe about April with hopefully some fish to fry that night :fingerscrossed:
But the original plan was to paddle across some lakes and up the mouth of some streams to get to some fly fishing that not everyone would go through the trouble to get to.

I have taken mine down the river a few times with some decent rapids you just better have your line picked because like you said not as responsive to turn. I really want the Coosa as well for the rivers I fish drifting for big flatheads.

I plan on working on my ferrying to set up ahead because you’re right don’t expect any last second turning with the cuda. We drove down and looked the edistoe and it’s FULL of snags.

Regarding a deep sea charter when @Blackout14 is down here...

I can check with Capt. Zack of Guess Hoo Charters (http://www.guesshoocharters.com/) to see his availability.

@rogs6266 and I chartered with him and were nothing short of impressed. He’s not the captain that gets you out there, let’s you drift, and then kicks his feet up. He constantly keeps the boat in position and on the fish.

Last time we went out we absolutely killed it! Maxed out on Black Sea bass and caught a whole bunch of everything else.

Oh I know those types. Me and gramps always went with those types. That type of capt. is the one who put me on my Blue. They never stop moving to find the fish and then once they do they keep on it! We just have so many wrecks and structure around NC sometimes it can be a PITA to find the fish. They don't call our coast the Graveyard of the sea for no reason!

Well I gave all my tax info to my cousin to complete so the refund check should be in soon enough. Now to begin the quest to see what I want and how much of my money the govt is gonna give me back.
