South East Fishing Meets

Smaller ones and babies are the worse so damn wiggly and damn hard to hold onto. Bigger ones especially once you get behind them and get the tail are a little slower moving and one could say more docile to an extent. Still gotta be on your P's and Q's! Making that leap onto the back of a good 8+ footer is a huge adrenaline rush! Especially when you are the first to go and have to get to the head.

 

I'll check around here we should be getting some soon.

Dude stay away from the birds they are evil especially the ones that are that fearless because they are use to getting stuff from fisherman. That one looked like an herring but not sure.

 

What time you plan on meeting up tomorrow? It’s about 2hrs down there for me. Like 9ish?

Heading down to Ocracoke in a couple weeks. So stoked even tho statistically speaking I won’t catch much but a sunburn and a good time lol

 

There is some good fishing down there. You'll at least catch a pinfish or 2. I'll work on getting something together and we can plan on it.

 

I hope some are staying by the ramp! We will see yall 11 or so. I ain't getting up at buttcrack after the week we have had

 

Ryan and I will be at CC Haig around dawn. Text/call me and I’ll come back if the tide will let me or I’ll steer you our way.

We’re going to try to get to the flats before the outgoing tide that starts around 10ish. Low tide is at ~1pm.

 

Gotcha I should be at the boat ramp by 9. I’ll holler at ya.
