Whats up guys. im new to the forum just traded my 2011 wrx in for 2013 tacoma mgm dcsb. im stationed in opa locka with cg livin in plantation but from Hobe sound. truck should be lifted in next 4 months thinkin OME or Fox maybe Camburg. just wonderin if yall have meets or anything down here would love to see some other 2nd gens to see what 3 in looks like, trucks not really offroad ready but ill take it offroad.Lookin to do a functional build a good all around truck since who knows where ill be stationed next. also anyone headed to the 4wheel parts show in orlando this month, hopefully there will be some tacos there to check out.

Like fink said, they come ready to play. Not going to the 4WP show, but I am looking into the OME lift as well. From my time here, it seems like that's the best lift...

 

yeah ive been doing a lot of research and for the money ome seems like what im looking for it comes highly recomended from a lot of people on this site, a coilover might be better but its a huge price jump and im not sure ill ever need the adjustability. I still have alot of research to do but camburg suposedly gives 15% military discount which is pretty darn good so ive been looking at them too. the show is supposed to be aug 24-25th at orlando convention center. im gonna go to show sat morn i think then camp santos mountain bike trails in ocala to do some riding. for the rest of the weekend im excited.
Tacoma is pretty offroad ready but the tires they put on them suck I dont know if they would get any traction. I wish I got TRD offroad Instead off sport dealer didnt tell me about locker i guess I should have done more research. Eventually ill have to install one.

totally off topic of meet but have any of yall seen mgm taco with a bronze wheel just curious as to what it would look like.I cant find one anywhere on forum or internet im havin trouble picking the wheel i want im between procomp 7032, method racing, and scs 6 bronze. should be going with OME lift in 2 months unless one of the vendors at the 4 wheel parts show this weekend in orlando can change my mind. Lookin foreward to a meet hopefully its a weekend one so i can make it. Used to go to meets when I had my WRX they were always at restraunts. An offroad meet sounds way more fun.

 

the cross streets are Dixie and Lucille Dr. accross from the last chance saloon in homestead. ive never been there myself but have heard its a large place and plenty of mudd

FWIW, the guy I picked up a Magnaflow from down in FTL had OME if I remember correctly. His truck was nice and had a good look / height to it.

Whatever route you take, make sure the VSC module is cleared and reset for the new parameters. Seems a bunch of trucks that were not reset have weird VSC things trying to save them.

My own truck has been the work in progress as time permits. I really wanted to keep the stance moderate and in between of height similar to a Raptor. The internet is bad and I saw some LT trucks and lifted photos. I am almost considering getting lift spindles and rear springs...tough call, guess I need to park it next to Worthys truck and see how tall it rates with just the Icons.
