    Hello all,

Saw this dirt road off of nw 74 st & 107 ave (Doral, Fl). Thought I'd do my own version of "3 wheel motion" minus the hydraulic suspension, haha. Unfortunately, after I climbed that small hill I saw a very large NO TRESPASSING sign so I left.

    Nice photo session there,

I used to go out there in high school, always had massive bong
fires. I wonder why they closed it down and put the no trespassing
    sign

How far out were you able to get before you couldnt get out anymore.
from what i remember back in the day there was some good mud holes
    out there.

    Thanks Nick.

I believe you did. That entire area can't be more than 7 - 8 years old. I used to go to U-Pick Auto junk yard back when nw 74 st ended at nw 87 ave. Now it connects with the Turnpike which parallels nw 117 ave. I was in to about nw 66 st. There are no signs but I Google Mapped it afterwards. Another long dirt road but it was getting dark so I'll go by another day earlier. I noticed that they are going to build houses there. I'll check it out again soon.

Go to Google Maps & type in nw 102 ave & nw 74 st & you'll see where I went.

    Oh, no mud.

    Dusty as HELL!

HAHA! Thanks man! It's the 1st cruise that my 2 sons, wife, & I have ever been on so we're pretty anxious.

Hey ozmon, I completely forgot that I still have the shock extenders! I was supposed to give them to you at Citrus but I couldn't go. If you want, you can PM me your address & I'll send them to you or I can give them to you on April 13 when we go to Homestead. How ever you want to do it is fine by me. Just let me know.
BTW, How's it riding with the 5100's?

    BEAUTIFUL TRUCK SIR!

    AWESOME STANCE!

Great choice in suspension! From what I have heard/read the OME suspension has a softer ride than the Billies. Probably due to the fact that OME's are twin-tube shocks & Billies are mono-tube shocks. Again, your truck looks beautiful & may you enjoy it in good health for many years to come.

    Few questions......

    1) Thanks for mentioning the shop. Even though I've been able to do my lift at my job it's good to know that there IS a shop in Miami that can do this OTHER THAN 4WP. Do you feel that the price was reasonable?

    2) Did you measure the ride height before the lift for comparison?

    3) Are those 255/85r16's?

    4) Did you have a cb drop and/or axle shims installed?

    5) Are you going to Homestead on April 13? Come on man! My birthday is on the 12th! HAHA. Not that it matters as much when you're hitting 41! :D

Thank you brother she's a work in progress., 1st happy early b-day if we don't see one another on the 13th.

    on too the Few questions.....

    1) Thanks for mentioning the shop. Even though I've been able to do my lift at my job it's good to know that there IS a shop in Miami that can do this OTHER THAN 4WP. Do you feel that the price was reasonable?

Hand's down an amazing shop & Will the owner is very helpful. He's honest and up front with everything. His lead tech is a Toyota guy, has a 3rd Gen 4runner S/C on a 3" lift & 285's. Price is fair, his hourly rate is $85.00. I think its good for us "I know how to do it, just don't want to deal with it" type of guys.

    2) Did you measure the ride height before the lift for comparison?

:( I didn't, when I remembered it was to late they had already done the rear.

    3) Are those 255/85r16's?

Yes, hands down the best size for a 2nd Gen Tacoma IMHO. They roll/ride amazing on the hwy. Can't wait to hit the dirt and see how they do. Funny, I haven't run M/T's in a long time. In my last rig the FZJ-80 I ran Nitto Grapplers. I was on the fence about this just cuz I drive from Weston - Doral every day to work. But so far so good.

    4) Did you have a cb drop and/or axle shims installed?

No Dif Drop kit, I did a lot of homework on this and its not a good idea if you run a heavy load up front (Bull Bar, Skids, Winch) witch is what I will be doing. I did buy the rear drive shaft baring drop kit, I told Will not to install it that I wanted to see how it drove 1st. So far I have a very light vibration at speeds between 58mph-67mph I may install it this weekend and see if it helps.

    5) Are you going to Homestead on April 13? Come on man! My birthday is on the 12th! HAHA. Not that it matters as much when you're hitting 41!

I was talking with Nick last week or so, I may have a business trip that week. Not sure yet, I'll keep you guys in the loop.

The truck is looking great man, so is your son.
congratz again on the new bundle of joy.

You should put on the ARB bumper. put it on first without
cutting up your stock one and see how you like it. That way
if you dont at least you still can go back to stock.
