Mod date info

We will start around 9am, located at my shop in Pike County Ga(unless noted otherwise. You can bring whatver tools you may want, I have welders, cutting torches, power tools etc and acourse a car lift. If everyone wants to chip in $10 we can grill something grocery stores few miles away to get whatver we may need. There is a Ace hardware less than 5 minutes away for some material or Home Depot and Lowe’s 15 minutes away. Any shop donations are greatly appreciated but you don’t have to your choice! I look forward to meeting new people and having a good time!!!!

Hey guys! This is for all Ga boys/girls not just those south of Atlanta!! I know we have talked about meeting on other forms. Let’s get a group together and meet in McDonough to eat regularly, A meet and greet kind of thing. If anyone has a shop we could use in or around the McDonough area, it would be closer for some of the northerners!!! I know I could use some help on my rig sometimes and I would extend the same to others and long as me and my little family aren’t busy or the deer and ducks don’t interfere!! Lol! I would enjoy meeting new people and their families and I know same to you guys!!! Mod day and meet and greet days will be posted on thread and final details on this post at the top!!

Guys throw some dates at me and some locations!!!

 

Taco Mac is always a good spot to eat, but really exit 218 is packed with good food.

Also Friday nights and Saturday nights are usually best for me.

 

I work Tuesday and Thursday night until December this year. Monday and Wednesday nights work for me during the week. Weekend day and nights wide open and I'm off every Friday for a week day trail ride.

 

Since I'm north of Atlanta weekends will only be good for me. But don't plan it around me, do the majority

 

i work every other Saturday ... and only boys @17tacostormtrooper? I get out at 5 on those Saturdays, so later would work for me. I'm in Gray so anything is a drive for me

 

I think it would be cool if we could plan some trail days where the south side could convoy up. If we go north, having a group that needs to head back south would help out anyone who has a mechanical issue.

 

I'm in Butler Ga on a regular basis. You're at a Macon dealer?

We need to talk about checking out the Sprewell bluff access and the rough edge trails below pine mountain. Rough Edge is dirt roads seldom maintained with ruts, hills and switchbacks. Never been to the Sprewell bluff access but there is a video of a 3rd gen doing it 1 year ago. Also interested in checking out the slab in Alabama.

 

I would like to get together and do some trails also just noting to serious that a slight lifted over stock Truck could do. Once I get my rig finished I will do whatever!!

 

Weekends are good for me.

 

Guys what about this Friday or Saturday is this too soon Or can most of us make it!! the taco Mac is good for me!!!!

 

I would have to wait till next weekend or maybe just stop in for a bit . I have 11 family members in town staying in my house till the 24th.

 

Exit 218 is South Georgia? I'd call that South "Atlanta". LOL. Depending on when y'all decide to do this, I may be game.

On a side note, maybe some of us could put together a South "South Georgia" meet. We had a couple in Macon several years ago but even further south could work also.

 

We could do further south like Forsyth would work but the police are ass holes down there!! Food choices aren’t that great either!!They may make us leave if we are just hanging out somewhere!!! we could do this one in McDonough and the next in Macon! Swap them up just trying to get as much of us together as possible!!!

 

Let’s do a pole for this weekend if some of us can get other at McDonough exit 218 I-75 taco Mac...

 

I know it’s quick it let’s get this thing going. We then can do one further south this next time!!! Guys this Friday or Saturday, time I would say 7pm!!

I can check these out for you guys. The rough edge trails were pretty heavily eroded last time I went down them, and that was right before Irma came through. I made it through with 4wd but scrubbed the skids a few times. Spwerwell bluff access is seasonal. Since deer season is in full swing, I'd be willing to be it's open. And the power line trail is really rough. I've only ever done the first hill in my Tacoma but I've done the whole trail many times on my ATV.

@MitchK Was the 3rd GEN that hit up those trails last time. Maybe he can chime in and comment if he's ridden them anytime recently.
