@17tacostormtrooper I can be there as early as possible so that we can know my truck out and leave room for others if that will help. since we are just doing shocks shouldn't take too long, but you know how that goes.

This 100%. I don't want to see people tear up their rigs. I don't wanna tear up mine so I'll help get you thru stuff if you need help, we we're all in your shoes at one time. The more and more you get out the more comfortable you'll be with your rig and driving skill. Nobody get's left behind unless they're being a dumbass and we'll probably still help you out.

If I could like this 1000 times I would. We want to do fun rides where you can choose how much you want to challenge yourself. We have trucks with winches, recovery gear, highlift jacks and we carry tools. There will be people with basically the same truck and a great deal of combined mechanical knowledge. You have to know that if Taco's were flipped over and on fire with body parts around, it would be on here, the news and everywhere else.......it just doesn't happen. Can something happen......yes but the chances of a catastrophic failure are much more likely on your morning commute.

Dang, guess I better hurry up and decide on a rear lift and get it ordered:eek:

You guess think I should pick up a CB drop kit, axle shims, center pin extension, etc as precautionary items?

Wasn’t planning on replacing bumpstops since I’m only going up ~1-2” total. I didn’t replace them on my 2nd gen with a 2.5” lift.

Get u a complete fox lift if you don’t like the icons and be done with it and they can be rebuilt. I didn’t use and axle shims or none of that on my 17 30,000 Miles no issues so far.

Fox or King would be my first choice, but you know what they say, ‘champagne taste but a PBR budget.’

Realistically my rig won’t see any real ‘wheeling’ so most of the top tier kits are way overkill for me.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I’ve actually got replacement front and rear shocks that should be delivering today. Just gotta figure out rear lift.
Bahaha, right. Prolly be a similar price tag, or higher, to a set of Kings when they become available.
