Check my build thread...too much to list.
Not sure when will be good for me. Don't know what schedule I'll be working when I get back stateside. If anything I'll take a day or two of leave. I am closer to tahoe than most so a day trip is no problem. I'll just keep watching this thread for input for the people who need more planning.

I can still look into it, I thought some of you guys indicated they were a little far away. Thing is, I need a tentative date when I schedule it, and probably a month in advance. I'll look into it next week at work. Alls I have to do it ask really.

look into 1/20/12 - 1/22/12. That's a Fri-Sun. If you can get that, it'll save me a headache with getting a cabin. Thanks

Is this happening? Cause I would be down with a day trip. I am only 3+ hours away from Northstar.

I'm down, but i plan to go to Tahoe every weekend cause snowboarding's my life in the winter and i live in the Sacramento area so its not to far. just let me know the weekend and ill be down. i also plan on camping in the snow so if anyone wants to try that, that could be an option.

Sounds good, I just added all you guys to the list.

    The updated rundown:

I'm going to change the dates to 1/27/12 - 1/29/12 (works out better for me and no one else is suggesting any dates :p)

The cabin will be in South Lake Tahoe and the resort we'll be snowboarding at will be either Heavenly or Sierra. I'm waiting on Brian to see if he can get any of those discounted Air Force cabins. If not, then I'll book a cabin that will try to accommodate all of us + our guests. I'm anticipating some flakes (just being honest) so depending on how many people know for sure by Octoberish, I'll book accordingly.

Again I brought up earlier that pretty much every cabin in South Tahoe has limited parking, especially since there is no street parking bc of the snow plows. So I'm calling out all double cabs so we can carpool folks.

Any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to bring them up.

I'll park mine on the front porch.

I think I can make it with my tires.

By then the rear will be locked :D

Sounds good to me. I'll try and make the dates and might just get a room at one of the casinos with some people and probably hang out with you guys at the cabin

the best way to not crash on the bunny slopes......stay off the bunny slope. just go to the top and go balls out, thats how i learned. i actually find it harder to ride flat slopes like bunny slopes even to this day because its a lot easier to catch an edge on a flat slope then something that has some downhill to it.

Board or skis? Board you can get up and riding within a few hours. I dont go often so im not that good but I can hang still. Its easy to ride, just get used to staying off your front edge when learning or your face wont look like this anymore -> :D
