Brutal I hope its just the driveshaft...I have a brand new one sitting right here......hope its not the 3rd.....

not sure its even geared correct...couldnt find a stamp.....
and dont realy feel like swapping one out tomm. morning.....
its funny i herd some funny noises today but thought it was the car next to me...
then when i went out to radio shack for some supplies i herd a squeaking upon takeoff from my house.....then went away..then i had to punch it to pass someone and thats when the real sounds marble like started.....
idk i think its the rear end.....
not 100% sure tho.....i have been having some issues with the front driver cv clicking at full lock and some serious noise when wheeling...."ask chris"....but that seems to have stopped......or i stopped wheelin.....
my diff has been seeping....mabye its dry its well over due for a fluid change....
was waiting for heat to go away to pull the third and seal it up....
mabye its dry idk.....

Your D's for a stick is a diff. Size then auto.......I have a brand new one sitting here....also have the spare third and a wheel hub and bearing assembly already pressed In.....
I'm going to run Tokyo parents house and see what's going on sometime tommarow

 

Yea stick is like 2" longer or shorter I forget

yea my diff haz been leaking for some time now...
i tightend the bolts many months ago and thought it had stopped....
its more of a seepage then a leak...
but a month or so ago i noticed its was still seeping......
but it was a lease thern so i wasnt going to fix anything....
but now that i bought it...i was going to fix it but it has been to dam hot out.....
and at the same time i was going to replace the ds and get the half candy caned one retubed with some sch 40 pipe......
i am leaving work soon as i can and heading straigh to my moms house and going to check it out.....
what a way to start a vac.

yea i wasnt / isnt to concerned with it...
i was going to change the fluid have it all already for a month or so cuz its well over due to be changed... but i was holding off to fix / pull the 3rd and replace the gasket first.....
im going to check the level later anyway for piece of mind.....
just went back outside and the carrier bearing looks like it haz more play then it did the last time i checked it....
so hopefully thats all it is and i can swap the ds and be on my way......
this is like the 4th trip now where something breaks the day before im leaving....
is my truck telling me something?

 

I sure hope it's just lack of fluid and not anything blown up. That would suck big time.
