Installed some Well visors this morning. I was never 100% happy with the Weathertech visors in my Tacoma. These Well visors stick to the outside and have little clips. Installation is kind of a pain. The Weathertechs were a much easier install but always seemed to interfere with the window operation. Wasn't sure how that would work with auto windows. There were small gaps in the top that I filled in with FIPG. To be fair, they included bits of stick on foam that I assume were to fill in these gaps. Didn't think about that until after the install.
    :annoyed:

And finally installed the RCI skids Friday. These suckers are BEEFY! It really helped having the GX on a lift and having bigger friends to help. :D

Gotta get @01Tac0ma to make me a little plate to go between his bumper and the engine skid.

When the plastic clips fail, just use drywall screws

I need to get my front windows tinted. I'm just going to stick what whatever factory is for the back windows. Hopefully between that, a sunshade on the dash and leaving the windows cracked, it won't be an oven when I go to leave work.

I can already tell a massive difference. MUCH cooler getting into it. I don't typically use a sunshade since my GPS and camera are on the windshield.

Mainly trying to preserve the dash!
But it does help. My dash cam is up there too. It's not really in the way though. This sunshade is cut for the GX so it fits perfectly.

Got a link? Once I finish with the upkeep items (Upstream O2 sensors, both CV axles, fluid flush, and coil packs), I think I'll bite the bullet and do the dash. Then I can focus on armor

Luckily the PO had the dash done on mine a few years ago. We used to sell these thru work and had one still sitting around. But here's the Amazon link.

If you really want to block heat. Get 70% ceramic on the windshield (or 40% like me).

I know you probably posted this somewhere already, but what size lift and tires you running? I have a line on a set of the same wheels and was curious what you ended up going with. Also, any rubbing?

OME medium duty (885 front & 895 rear IIRC) kit, JBA UCA's, Spidertrax 1.25" spacers, and LT265/70/17 Load C Duratracs. No rub

I'm running the heavy OME kit and the same size tires. Still have to get the rear bumper and RTT installed. Debating on whether I need to go with a larger tire as the heavy kit seemed to have netted me a bit more lift...

    *edit: I'm also running 265/70/17's

Might upgrade the springs to the heavy should I decide for bumpers/winch/rack

Haha, I'm almost the opposite. I have a front bumper/winch with rear bumper/swingouts and a RTT and might end up opting for the medium springs in the rear. Will report back in the coming months...

Sort of. It's definitely a little stiff without the RTT and spare hanging off the back. It's not a bad stiff though, feels pretty planted and cornering is still really good considering the higher center of gravity (mostly RTT). It isn't jarring by any means.

The droop is pretty much maxed out. The UCA doesn't have much more downward travel left. Aftermarket UCA's are in my near future.

Also, I was really only hoping for a little over an inch and got more than I expected...
