Got the driver side running board chopped up and put back on so the bottom of the front fender doesn’t look so hideous. Managed to take a huge chunk of flesh out of my finger in the process from my oscillating tool slipping.

battery also died in it so it’s not getting moved anytime soon I reckon.

Waiting on new clips so I can do the pass side.

 

How did you manage that? Razor blade worked fine for trimming the plastic.

 

i specifically didn’t use a razor blade for this exact reason.

 

So... you used an oscillating tool to avoid cutting yourself? And then cut yourself in the process? Just trying to get this straight...

 

I’m super clumsy. Everything I touch will break or I will hurt myself in the process. A razor would have ended with a chopped off finger.

 

That’s how I read it all you gotta do is cut away from you. Easier said than done.
